- Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of One Medical Waste Incinerator Forj. Nehru Hospital, Rose Belle The Public Body is: MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS, 5th Floor, Emmanuel Anquetil Building, SSR Street, Port Louis The name of the Contract is: Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of One Medical Waste Incinerator for J. Nehru Hospital, Rose Belle The identification of the contract is: MHPQ/NMW&S/2020-2021/ONB/Q55 Bidding Method: Open National Bidding Participation is limited to citizens of Mauritius or entities incorporated in Mauritius. Joint ventures should be among entities incorporated in Mauritius. The scope of this project shall be as follows: - Decommission the existing Incinerator plant and any other unused items from existing Incinerator room at Jawaharlall Nehru Hospital. Bidder shall provide transport facilities to transfer the dismantled incinerator and chimney to Pailles Store. - Cleaning, painting and making good of the incinerator room. - Supply, installation of new Medical waste incinerator in existing Incinerator room. (Bidder shall consider the size of room, the access size door and present position for chimney at ceiling prior to proposing any equipment) - Carry out Electrical Works as specified by ESD. - Supply of one high pressure water cleaner of approx. 150 bars. - Remove and cart away existing waterproofing membrane - Waterproofing works on existing building. - Service and painting of existing roller shutters. - Supply, Testing and commissioning of the new incinerator. - Training of Hospital personnel on the operation and maintenance of the incinerators. The Employer Ministry of Health & Wellness shall be the Employer for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of One Medical Waste Incinerator for J. Nehru Hospital, Rose Belle. The Intended Completion period is 120 calendar days from date of start of work. The Engineer shall give the contractor 7 days` notice of the Commencement Date. Demonstrate experience in works of similar nature. The assessment of the financial soundness of the company shall be on a pass/fail basis on its overall performance. Bidders shall also submit duly filled Key Financial Information Form extracted from Audited Accounts/Financial Statements as per format provided in Section III Bidding Forms. The contractor has to be registered with the CIDB under the appropriate Grade that would allow him to perform the value of works for which he is submitting his bid. Not Applicable The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of the Bidder shall be Rs 1 Million. With respect to specific cash flow requirements, the bidder should submit documentary evidence mentioning the name of this project and its reference where applicable. Non submission of the supporting documents shall lead to the rejection of the bid Bidders to demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet the overall cash flow requirements for the contract and its current commitments. Documentary evidence may comprise but is not limited to: -Bank Certificate -Certificate from Auditors -Certificate from a Professional Accountant Registered with MIPA- - Certificate from Insurance companies A Pre-bid/site visit meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday 06 October 2020 at 10.30 hours at J.Nehru Hospital.
