- Tenders are invited for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1MWac Solar PV Farm at Grenade, Rodrigues of the Republic of Mauritius. Central Electricity Board Invitation for Bids (IFB) (Authorised under Section 16 of the Public Procurement Act 2006, as amended) Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1MWac Solar PV Farm at Grenade, Rodrigues of the Republic of Mauritius Procurement Reference No: OAB-PROD-20-027 Open International Bidding The Central Electricity Board (CEB) is pleased to invite bids from qualified and eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1MWac Solar PV Farm at Grenade, Rodrigues of the Republic of Mauritius, as per requirements of the Bidding document. This procurement is being conducted through Open International Bidding procedures according to the Provisions of the Mauritius Public Procurement Act. The complete sets of Bidding Document may be downloaded, free of charge, from the CEB-s website https://ceb.mu or from the Procurement Policy Office (PPO) platform http://publicprocurement.govmu.org Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security for an amount of MUR 700,000 in the form of a Bank Guarantee, valid for a period of 150 days as from the bid submission deadline or up to 26 March 2021, whichever is the latest. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled on Thursday 01 October 2020 at 10.00 hrs at Grenade Wind Farm, Rodrigues. Bids in sealed envelope clearly marked “OAB-PROD-20-027: Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1MWac Solar PV Farm at Grenade, Rodrigues, Republic of Mauritius”, addressed to the Chairman Tender Committee should either be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Secretariat Tender Committee, Central Electricity Board, Royal Road, Curepipe, Republic of Mauritius or sent by registered post or Courier Service to reach on or before Wednesday 28 October 2020 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian time) at latest. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids shall be opened in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the CEB Office, Committee Room, 3rd Floor, New Building, Royal Road, Curepipe, on Wednesday 28 October 2020 at 13.45 hrs. The Central Electricity Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any Bidder.
