- Tenders are invited for Upgrading of Constance Bridge along B117 Road at St Remi The Scope of Works includes the following: • Structural Rehabilitation/ Demolition of the existing structure and reconstruction of a reinforced concrete bridge approximately 15 m span and 12 m wide, on a design and build basis by the Contractor; • Widening and resurfacing of existing road over an approximate length of 200 m. • Construction of road side drains, footpaths and retaining structures such as masonry walls; • Modification, protection and relocation of existing services such as telecom (MT), electricity supply (CEB), water supply (CWA), etc; • Provision of miscellaneous road equipment such as road marking, cat-s eyes, traffic signs, handrails, safety fences, etc…; • Provision of road lighting over an approximate length of 350 m; • Landscaping works; • Any other works as described in these documents Bids must be submitted online on the eProcurement System at latest by Monday 27th December 2021 up to 13.30 hours (Local Time). Bidders who have submitted bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bids from Monday 27th December 2021 from 14.31 hours (Local Time) till Wednesday 29th December 2021 up to 13.59 hours (Local Time). Bids will be opened online in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address given hereunder on Wednesday 29th December 2021 as from 14.00 hours (Local Time). Road Development Authority 8th Floor, Blue Tower, Rue de L-Institut, Ebene, Mauritius. The Road Development Authority (RDA) reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any Bidder.
